The new trail to the summit of Mount Kinabalu, which opened on 1st December 2015, drew the attention of climbers who have already scaled this mountain, ready for a fresh challenge to reach Low’s Peak. As always, this majestic mountain in the Crocker Range continues to be a major attraction as Sabah’s (and Malaysia’s) tallest mountain to everyone planning a visit to Borneo.
Make your booking early: only 120 climbers are allowed each day!
07.30 am – Depart from hotel and transfer to Kinabalu National Park.
09.00 am – Arrive at the Park Headquarters for registration.
09.15 am – Meet your mountain guide and transfer to the starting point (Timpohon Gate).
09.30 am – Trekking begins. Expected arrival time at the mountain hut (for overnight stay) by late afternoon.
